From there, we add different scents and colorants so create the perfect bar for each goat milk soap loving customer. Each element in our soap has been thoughtfully selected to offer you the best in skincare. Join us on a journey to discover the remarkable benefits that make our soap a luxurious and wholesome choice for your daily routine

  • .Lard - Lard in cold process goat milk soap contributes to a firm texture, stable lather, and moisturizing qualities. Its fatty acids offer skin conditioning and a creamy feel, making the soap ideal for dry or mature skin. Lard also supports intricate designs and can be a sustainable option when sourced responsibly. We source our lard from Polyface Farm, a local renowned regenerative farm, promoting sustainable, holistic agriculture, that supplies diverse, high-quality products while respecting nature's cycles.

  • Coconut Oil - Coconut oil in cold process goat milk soap creates abundant, cleansing lather while providing excellent cleansing properties. Its medium-chain fatty acids offer moisturization and antimicrobial benefits, making the soap suitable for oily or acne-prone skin. It can also contribute to hardness and stability in soap bars.

  • Goat Milk - Goat milk is a valuable ingredient in cold process soap due to its numerous benefits. It contains natural lactic acid, which offers gentle exfoliation for smoother skin. Vitamins A and E nourish and rejuvenate the skin, while its creamy consistency contributes to a luxurious lather. Goat milk soap is gentle and moisturizing, making it suitable for sensitive or dry skin, potentially providing relief for conditions like eczema. Its anti-inflammatory properties can soothe irritation, and its natural fats moisturize deeply. Overall, goat milk adds a touch of indulgence to soap, combining cleansing with skincare benefits for a wholesome bathing experience. Our goat milk soap is source from a local goat dairy, Fawn Crossing Farms, that focuses on regenerative and sustainable farming practices.

  • Sunflower Oil - Sunflower oil in cold process goat milk soap brings a balance of vitamins, particularly vitamin E, and essential fatty acids, promoting skin nourishment and hydration. It contributes to a gentle, conditioning lather, making the soap suitable for sensitive and dry skin types, while helping maintain moisture and supporting overall skin health

  • Castor Oil - Castor oil in cold process goat milk soap creates a rich, creamy lather and enhances the soap's cleansing ability. Its high ricinoleic acid content offers moisturization, making the soap ideal for dry or sensitive skin. It can also contribute to stable lather and help create intricate designs in soapmaking

  • Lye - Without lye, weโ€™d have no soap! Lye saponifies by a chemical reaction called hydrolysis. It reacts with fats and oils in the soap making process to form soap and glycerin. Glycerin is a moisturizing humectant in soap, attracting and retaining skin moisture for hydration and softness.

  • Essential Oils - Essential oils in cold process goat milk soap offer natural fragrance, potential therapeutic benefits, and customization, enhancing soap's appeal and potential skin benefits.

  • Fragrance Oil - Phthalate-free fragrance oils in cold process goat milk soap ensure safety, eco-friendliness, skin-friendliness, and pleasing scents without harmful chemicals, enhancing soap quality.

At The Honest Goat, passion shapes every goat milk soap bar. Responsibly sourced ingredients like lard, coconut oil, goat milk, and more offer cleansing, nourishment, and luxury. Experience the best in skin care with our hand crafted goat milk soap bars.
